Why Play Golf in New Zealand?
New Zealand has quietly become one of the world's most exciting golf destinations. And once you've played here, you'll understand why.
From dramatic oceanside fairways to beautifully maintained parkland layouts, New Zealand offers a remarkable variety of golf experiences in a relatively small country.
But the real magic happens beyond the golf course.
It's the laid-back Kiwi lifestyle. The spectacular beaches. The fresh seafood. The mountain lakes. The local characters. And the feeling that around every corner, another adventure is waiting.
At Kiwi Golf Adventures, we believe the best golf trips aren't just about the courses you play.
They're about the stories you bring home.
The 2027 Kiwi Classic Tour
Eight Nights. Six Rounds. One Epic Kiwi Adventure.
Our signature 2027 Kiwi Classic Tour takes you through New Zealand's spectacular North Island, combining some of the country's most memorable golf courses with authentic local experiences.
This isn't a trip where you simply fly in, play golf, and fly home.
It's an opportunity to experience New Zealand like a local, with a Kiwi leading the way.
The Golf
Our planned North Island itinerary features six rounds at a mix of internationally recognized destinations and local favorites.
Te Arai Links — Spectacular coastal golf, rolling dunes, ocean views, and one of New Zealand's premier modern golf experiences.
Muriwai Golf Club — Classic links-style golf set beside the rugged black-sand beaches of Auckland's west coast.
Mount Maunganui Golf Club — A welcoming Kiwi golf experience in one of New Zealand's most iconic beach towns.
Rotorua Golf Club (Arikikapakapa) — A distinctive geothermal golf experience in the heart of Rotorua.
Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary — Championship golf surrounded by native forest and protected wildlife near Lake Taupō.
Tieke Golf Estate — A memorable modern layout featuring natural contours, strategic design, and a uniquely New Zealand setting.
Six courses. Six different personalities. One seriously good golf trip.
Courses and itinerary are subject to final confirmation.
Beyond the Fairways
The golf might bring you to New Zealand, but everything else makes the trip unforgettable.
Lake Taupō trout fishing: Experience one of New Zealand's most famous freshwater fishing destinations.
Beachside living: Relax in coastal communities where flip-flops and a cold drink are part of the lifestyle.
Authentic Kiwi hospitality: Enjoy local food, great conversation, and the places Kiwis actually love.
Incredible landscapes: Explore volcanic scenery, beautiful lakes, native bush, and rugged coastlines.
A few surprises along the way: Because some of the best travel experiences aren't found in a brochure.
Why Travel With Kiwi Golf Adventures?
Hosted by a Kiwi. Built for Golfers.
Anyone can book tee times and hotels.
We believe a great golf adventure should offer something more.
Kiwi Golf Adventures was created to share the New Zealand we know and love with golfers from around the world.
Your tour is personally hosted by Scott, a PGA of America Associate, Coaching Professional, and a New Zealander with a passion for golf, travel, and showing people what makes his home country so special.
From the golf courses to the local watering holes, the beach towns to the hidden gems, you'll experience a side of New Zealand that most visitors never get to see.
Small Groups. Big Experiences.
We keep our tours small for a reason.
Smaller groups mean more flexibility, better camaraderie, and the freedom to enjoy the journey without feeling like you're part of a packaged tour.
Whether you're traveling solo, with a couple of buddies, or bringing your regular foursome, you'll feel right at home.
The Details Are Taken Care Of.
We organize the golf, accommodation, and ground transportation included in your tour package so you can focus on enjoying yourself.
No juggling tee times. No figuring out unfamiliar roads. No spending your vacation buried in travel logistics.
Just show up, bring your clubs, and get ready for an adventure.
A Different Kind of Golf Vacation
Less Tour Bus. More Road Trip.
Some golf vacations are built around five-star hotels, formal dinners, and perfectly polished itineraries.
That's not really our style.
We love a great golf course as much as anyone, but we also love the moments in between.
The spontaneous stop at a beach. The local pub after a round. The stories shared around the dinner table. The unexpected detour that turns into the highlight of the trip.
Think of Kiwi Golf Adventures as the ultimate New Zealand golf road trip, hosted by someone who knows the country.
Premium golf without the pretension. Adventure without the hassle.
